In our ongoing efforts to make the Pyramid platform as secure as possible, Pyramid 2025.02 has upgraded many aspects of its security mechanisms. As a result of these changes, content exported from Pyramid as PIE (content) or PAT (themes) files in earlier versions of Pyramid cannot be directly imported into Pyramid 2025.02 and later. Conversion is required for PIE and PAT files generated from Pyramid 2018 and Pyramid 2020.
Pyramid offers a conversion utility at https://converter.pyramidanalytics.com/ where you can upload your older PIE and PAT files for conversion and download the upgraded versions for subsequent import to Pyramid 2025.02 and later.
Using the Converter
Navigate to https://converter.pyramidanalytics.com/ directly, or by following the link from the import error message generated from attempting to import an out of date PIE or PAT file. Either click on the upload panel and select the files you want converted or drag and drop them into the upload panel.
Clicking on the “Convert Files” button will upload the selected files and initiate the conversion process. Successfully converted files will be downloaded automatically to your download folder. Any other outcome will be displayed in the Results section.
Note: There is currently an upload limit of 25MB on the total size of the files selected to be processed.
